SLP Loudmouth vs. Hooker Catback

SLP Loudmouth vs. Hooker Catback
Hey, I'm looking for some advice. I'm currently looking for some exhaust for my 94 z28. I've been looking into cat-backs and I like two of them. I was thinking of either going with:
A. SLP Loudmouth Catback (and I'll need an adapter)
OR
B. Hooker Catback (With an exhaust cut-out)
Does anyone have any advice for me? Does anyone have this exhaust?
(By the way, I don't exactly have the $$$ for Borla or anything like that)

The loudmouth is pull-me-over loud. You can feel it in your chest when someone revs an LT1 with a LM up. It sounds good on an LS1, but the LT1 is too loud IMHO.
I bought the Hooker and love it. It doesn't have the resonance of the Flowmaster and sounds downright mean when you get on the gas.

im sure the loud mouth is really loud. depends what you like. loud quiet? i put on a hooker aero chamber muffler and i love it. it sounds slightly louder than stock at idle and sounds good.. not to loud at WOT. i have a cutout too for track use.

I've gone from Borla--->Borla and longtubes---->longtubes and LM------>longtubes and 2OTL.
I loved the Borla until I got the headers...never cared for the sound afterwards, but got quite a few compliments from some of the local f-bod guys...
The LM sounded great with the headers (and 2 cats), but ticked all of my neighbors off. Put a dynomax bullet on and toned it down a lot. Still had neighbors ticked off at me and passed a cop at 5k rpm's so I pulled it off after 4 months (is sitting in my garage and for sale, btw)....my favorite setup so far. Only thing I didn't like was the fact that 4 seconds after you let off the gas, it still sounded like you were holding the pedal down and then suddenly let off...Definitely the deepest and most agressive of the 3 I've had.
Now I have a 2OTL and it sounds perfect with the longtubes and isn't too loud. Just doesn't sound as raw and mean as the LM did. Everybody around me seems much happier now, anyway.
Nice tone if you want a quieter exhaust, imo.
I would recommend the LM without hesitation if you don't mind what others think about it and can keep from cringing when you pass a cop.
