It should have an install kit. SLP loudmouth as no muffler hence the name and trust me it is irritatingly loud.

I dont believe anything real important comes in the install kit if you have an exhaust shop install everything then they dont need a kit anyway. If you have a 93-95 then you might need an S-pipe but that is all im aware of.

Our cars dont have true dual exhaust. we have a y-pipe so both sides of the motor run into a single pipe down the center of the car and then the muffler splits off into 2 tailpipes so it looks dual.

Yep! the only solution is to install longtube headers and have a custom dual exhaust system fabbed up to them.

On mine, I had no conversion kit, the exhaust shop just cut in to the I pipe that was on the car.

The LM will flow fine, its probably one of the best flowing catbacks around. SLP quotes somewhere in the 25 HP area for its addition but dont count on that much. Beware some people begin to dislike their LM after time and after removing the cat(s) for headers. Nice system. Since you on a budget I dont suggest GMMG. Alot of people also like SLP's 2OTL system, I think they sound very good.
