the hooker sounds badass after some LT's....the LM, will not sound good<-----gurantee....if you think it sounds bad w/o a cat, LT's will only add on to the crappysoundingness

Think dump truck + bad muffler.

Open Borla is raspy, too.

Loud does not always = power.

It's really loud and all the time. Get's really raspy at around 2-2500 rpms. WOT sounds like you're at a NASCAR race. Simply put, it's LOUD as hell. I'm either going with a Hooker cat-back and a cut-out or putting a Borla XR-1 in place of the resonator and see what difference that makes.

I had a vid posted up a little while after my heads/cam install. I'll see if I can pull it up.

 

i have jet hot longtubes /hooker catless y pipte/borla, the right exhaust tip on borla is basically a straight pipe, coming strait from my headers, its loud as hell, everyone says its so intimidating, i personally like it loud most of the time,
i'm currently trying to get something rigged up..
going to drop my muffler down and replace it w/ a pipe, so it will come out the headers through the y-pipe, then out the tips.
99% of the sound my car makes now is coming out the right side..

 

I heard a Loud mouth with long tubes and the dude added a glasspack to it. It sounded really good. It was loud as hell but didn't have the raspy sound when he gunned it. Not sure if he was running a cat or not.

 

I heard it on a HC car with the slp part removed an a XR1 in its place, the car sounded wicked as hell.
