Question slp long tubes.

would a set of these fit a 93 z if they came off a 95-97 z?? im lookin at getting some used with a new y-pipe. what should i expect to pay for these? i might add that the pass. side egr is broken off.

c'mon, dont be shy. i found a few articles that say they'd fit with a lil "fine" adjustment, but would i be paying to much if i paid 275 for the headers and y-pipe?

Hmm, I think they made mid length but not long tube headers... Atleast I haven't heard of them.

SLP only made long tubes for the LS1 cars. I would avoid the 96-97 LT1 headers unless you legally had to for smog purposes, they have a reputation for leaking and the design does not look very easy to work with, or make as much power as another shorty.

I have a friend with the SLP 1 3/4 headers on his 93 Z. A couple times a year he has to change a gasket to fix a leak. If it's long tubes you want, your choices are FLP, Hooker, and Jet Hot. There's a few other places that make them, such as TPIS and AS&M, but they're not as popular so I haven't heard much about them.
