SLP LM problem
SLP LM problem
Ever since I installed my SLP LM exhaust about 1 month ago, I have had no problems till now. The hump in the passenger side floorboard, where the cat is under it, seems to rattle. I assume its the actual cat and not the floorboard. But it only seemst to do it when I am letting off the gas from about 3000 rpms, if I let off any lower than that it wont do it, I assume thats because of a certain tone that causes it to rattle. Well I checked the bolts where the exhaust system bolts up to the cat and they are as tight as they were when I put them on, I can't even tighten them anymore. Anyone know what it could be?
ahhh the Loudmouth drone. 2000 rpm it will drone. Also stainlesds steel expands and contracts as it heats up. Gotta tighten up the nuts after a few heat cycles. As for the drone I replaced my LM hollow resonator with a dynomax race bullet . EXACT fit plus it has some batting/insulation inside that rids you of the drone. It costs about $100 to have one installed.
