ok so i was replacing the clutch in the car in my signature below. But i noticed a hairline crack in the flywheel surface. It is an SLP lightweight billet. I dont think they are made anymore but i was wondering if this flywheel was just too light for my application being it only weighs 12.6 lbs. I really like the lightness of this flywheel but if that is why it is cracked i cant be having that.

 

What is the HP/TQ estimate?

 

Overheating from the friction of slipping it will cause small cracks. If it small, resurfacing may get rid of it.
