SLP Intake + Vortech Elbow

Sorry we have to go back to this. I did use the search function so no comments plz

Does anyone have this combination? I have read that I will have to saw off a part of my new elbow I should recieve today. I have never cut metal however I do have the tools for it Drilling a hole for the IAT is no problem as long as it is the sensor that goes on top rather than on the side if I'm not mistaken.

How much should I expect to cut off. Or has someone found a way for this combo to work without machining anything? I wish to keep the stock MAF on, thanks.

I had to take ~1" off my trick flo elbow - best if you try to fit into place and measure.

there should be a hoele for the IAT on the side - you may have to tread the sensor for a vortech elbow - I'm not sure.

If there is no hole this may be a good time to do an IAT relocate and move it.

to cut the elbow I just used a hacksaw -
