slp headers

What is the difference between the 93 slp headers and the 95 model for the lt1 z other that the emission fitting.
Will the 93's fit on the 95 lt1 heads ?

Re: slp headers

95-97 headers twist and turn different on the driver side to keep the cat on the driver side in the stock location, where as 93-94 cars only have 1 cat so they dont have to worry about that. Normally 93-94 headers are better and make more power but if you have to pass emissions with a 95-97 you will need the headers that keep that cat in the stock location.

Re: slp headers

The 94-95 single cat header are the same as the 93s.But as you stated the emission hooks are in a different spot.I believe only 1995 California cars have the 96-97 twin cat setup. So if you are not in CA you sould have no problems "legally" running them.

BTW all LT-1 heads have the same bolt spacing for the exhaust.
