SLP header install?

I am about to install the SLP dual cat headers and was wondering what you did with the alt. bracket that bolted onto one fo the header bolts?

Thanks
Jeremy

I installed SLP single cat headers and reused the bolt for the alt bracket. It didn't really fit right though, I had to do some grinding on the head of the bolt to make it fit right. I actually cut the head down a size or two smaller with a dremmel. You really don't need that alt bracket, I've since removed it. The alt still has three other mounting points and I've had no problems not using that one.

I'm in the middle of trying to get the driver side header out and was wondering if you pulled it from the top or bottom? I have all but the last spark plug at the back removed and still cant get it out the top. It only took me a few mins to unbolt all the header bolts, but am have a hell of a time getting the header out.

I'm almost certain I took the stock pass side manifold out the bottom since there is so little room on that side to go out the top. It wasn't too hard to get out that way.

I was pulling out the SLP headers and replace the gaskets, o2s, and bolts. I finally got it out from the top after I took out all the plugs and wires and took off the valve cover, it came right out after that.
