Easy fan switch question

if i wire a fan switch, will they still come on if i forget to turn them on? or do i have remember to turn it on every time i drive? i just want something so i can turn the high power one on when im sitting in traffic before the car warms up too much.

Most manual fan switches 'override' stock setting, therefore they will 'work normally' also..

Never had a problem, as stated above the switch simply "overides" by grounding the circut. All the computer does is ground one of the two wires high and low, from the relay to turn it on.
