Question SLP Cold Air Intake?

I was looking into purchasing a cold air intake for my 97 Z28. I came across the SLP Performance Intake and I wondered if it was worth getting. My only concern is where would I get replacement Filters?

The filters with the SLP intake aren't genuine K&N, but they are washable and you can re-oil them just like a K&N. I use a K&N recharge kit on mine. Also, if you did ever need filters, SLP sells replacement filters for them.

I love my SLP intake. I had it on my V6 car when I had it and moved it to my Z when I got it last spring. Still very happy with it.

I love mine as well. The dual black powder coated pipes look sweet under the hood...and it flows just as good as any CAI on the market. Installation is pretty easy...but you will have to remove your radiator shroud and pull the radiator foward slightly to fit it in there.

I didn't have to move my radiator shroud like it said in the instructions. It went on in no longer than a half hour....very easy install and my car spun the tires much easier after it

I am very happy with the slp cai. It is a very nice piece imo. I like the way it looks with 2 tubes. The install took me about 1 1/2 hrs. but that is probably because i was doing it in the dark.

Definately woth getting. It flows as good as any and installs in no time, plus looks cool. You can get it from SLP like SlickBlackZ said.

I like mine a lot. It was my first power mod. Dont order directly from SLP. They take forever. The link for LS1 Speed was already posted above and they usually have the best prices on SLP stuff.
