SLP Clutch owners inside.

I installed my SLP clutch about 3 months ago. I just started to drive the car because of other problems it has been having. My question is how good does it grab for you? Because i had a 93 eagle talon turbo awd, that was almost stock that had a ACT 2600 clutch which is 1 step from the pure racing clutch. With that i could chip the tires going into 2nd gear. That was with a awd car. I can spin the tires going into 2nd with my camaro, but it doesn't seem to grab as hard as the clutch did with my talon. Is it supposed to grab really hard? Maybe its just feels like its not grabbing really good because of the way my other clutch was on my other car. I did get on the car a couple of times before i let my clutch have a 500 mile break in because it was 2 months from when i installed it. I forgot that i had to break it in because of how long it was from when i installed it.

the problem with SLP clutches is too much material, SLP put more beef on the thing as if its a push style clutch when it really isn't, its a pull type so the extra thickness prevents full disengagement of the pressure plate/disk, kinda sucks

I have the S.L.P. clutch and like it very much.
NO, It's not a "race" clutch... It's just a step above stock.
If yours grabs, what are you wanting?
Unless you are running high H.P. you don't need more clutch.

My SLP clutch works just fine for me... Although after smoking my **** horribly I am going to go in and unglaze the Flywheel/PP and put in a new disk... and mod the slave-cylinder at the same time.

I thought the disc was just a stock LT1 disc, I didn't know SLP did anything to it, it's the PP that is an modified LT4 unit. I thought it grabbed a little harder than stock but not much. I've used it for over a year now with lots of track abuse and it's holding fine for me so far. I'm going to upgrade the disc to something stronger later this year either way though since it sees a lot more track time now.
