SLP Clutch...Clutch Chatter??

Ive been researching clutches for a few days now and i think that im going with the SLP clutch disk, PP, and TO bearing...is that all i need?

From what i here this is the most reliable, better than stock, clutch for a midly modded car? Is this true

Ive been reading about problems with Clutch Chatter with an LT4 disk? I dont get what this is talking about? Will i have this problem with my car? I plan on keeping the stock flywheel.

Thanks,
Greg

I think the chatter youre referring to is the throwout bearing chatter prevalent on many of our cars. I am way past that point with my car, but i did have the SLP clutch setup before i went spec3. I had the chatter before, and after the install of the SLP setup. Could possibly be a pilot bearing also. Plan on changing that anyway during the swap. Good luck

i didnt have any problems with clutch disk chatter when i used that clutch. that is what i liked about it. more than likely the noise will come from the throwout bearing. u shouldnt get too much noise though, u will like that clutch for a mild street car!

Have you resurfaced your flywheel?
Clutches can chatter when the FW is not perfectly smooth.
