SLP CAI instructions.......

Got my intake today, looked over the directions to see what sort of challenge awaits me. Doesn't seem to difficult (the directions make it sound worse than it probably is) but the pictures came out like pure crap.......they're xeroxed color photos so you can't see **** in any of them.

Does anyone have the instructions online where I can print out the color pictures? Or anything similar to this? I would love to be able to use the pictures....

Re: SLP CAI instructions.......

I"m not sure if the v8's are the same or similar to the v6's but I have a SLP CIA for my 94 3.4l V6 camaro. I just installed the rubber elbow that does fromt eh throttle body to the CIA from slap installed the cover and sliped into place with out the filters attached. I then went under the car and removed the plastic cover from under the bumper and then attached the filters. And when I need to change the fileters I just remove the plastic cover from under the cover and change the filters.

Yes, remove from under the car. You don't replace! just wash reoil and reinstall. They are KN filters.

Re: SLP CAI instructions.......

Thanks guys for the input, I guess the directions came off sounding more difficult than they probably are.....I always find it easier if there are pictures provided though. Once I start it I should breeze right through it.

Re: SLP CAI instructions.......

once you start removing the stock intake stuff, you'll see that the SLP unit bolts back in the same way the stock stuff came out
you will have too pull some of the airdam apart under the car too get the filters on tho......no biggy

cake walk
you can get the K&N cleaning kit at any auto parts store that sells K&N filters

Re: SLP CAI instructions.......

It was a PITA for me to intall on my 93. Of course I did it with the filters on it. It looks sweet though, and sounds cool too.

Please post some feedback on this products and some installed pics if at all possible.
There are a couple pics of it in the link in my sig. Enjoy.

Re: SLP CAI instructions.......

Brent has a "how to" on installing a K&N CAI. Its similar but probably different since the SLP has 2 filters.
