Re: cant stop losing coolant

check the fitting at the bottom of the radiator, it went bad on my car in March and I couldnt find the problem anywhere, and cook the motor on my drive home(didnt know I was low on fluid damn light was burnt out), still had the problem after the new motor, fix that fitting and I have had no problems since.

Have someone else start the car while you stand behind it and look at the tailpipes. If there is a white burst you know where it is.

Re: cant stop losing coolant

I thought I had a blown head gasket but I wasent sure but it finally started smoking. I did however pull the some of the plugs before I knew one my head gaskets was shot. Mine were a darker tan color so i'd look at that. Although a tan color can also mean your car is running fine. I'd look at all the other little things first. I wouldn't worry about anything serious right now.

How much are you losing and how fast?
