best CAI you can get between those choices is the K&N fipk and Moroso they get the highest gaines coz they are made of plasic and not alluminum like the SLP, the SLP tends to heat up faster and hold temp. longer therfore if you use the slp you will be heating up the air, if you truly want the best CAI go with K&N otherwise if your looking for a nice looking one go with SLP, the diffrences are not THAT much but are still there.
I've heard from several people that they were disapointed with the SLP CAI and they bought it brand new too. I'd also probably go with plastic next time instead of metal (used to have AS&M CAI). The guys who changed to K&Ns said the air was HOT by the time it reached the TB and someone also mentioned the rubber connections weren't that great and were leaking air.... My $0.02.

I bought a Moroso CAI when I first got the car. It came off real quick and was replaced by an SLP CAI. I have lifted the hood after a 3 hour summer drive and the CAI was the same basic temp as it was when it's sitting w/ the engine off. No problems at all!
