SLP air induction on traction control car??
SLP air induction on traction control car??
Can I put the SLP air induction set-up on my '97 LT1 A4 2.73 car?
I have the SS hood installed - looks great - but can it be made functional with the traction control in place? Looks like it would be tight- looked at a '97 SS for comparison and still not sure. SLP will sell the pieces but would I be better off with CAI or FIPK??

I don't know if the ram air will fit with the traction control box (I don't have traction control) but I'm sure that a good CAI is good or maybe better then the so called ram air of a Camaro. Just look at how many bents there are in the tube compared to the CAI not to mention heat soak b/c the air box is directly above the manifold.
If it is in the way, you could do what the FI guys do and just relocate the ASR motor. It does look as if it would be in the way, its huge. Getting rid of it would probably be best. Either way a CAI would work out better than the Camaro "ram-air"like sssalah mentioned. The only F-car ram-air setup that actually somewhat works is the T/A version.
