SLP 2 on the left

Guys:

Does anyone have some before/after dyno #s on this exhaust? Please don't give me the generic "all exhausts will give a similar gain" reply. I'm not a newbie. I'd just like some specific results, please, if they are available.

I've heard good things about the flow with this exhaust. What's the structure of the muffler for it? It's not straight through, is it?

Thanks!

Chris

sorry i don't have any numbers to chime in for ya, i have the 2OTL but i dont even use it anymore running straight through the cutout... I liked the tone that it put out, sounds WAYYY NICE!! has a VERY DISCTINT TONE not like a garbly out of tone sound..... this exhaust has a boxed muffler that has a pipe with holes going thru the middle of it out to the other side, and then inside the muffler one each side of the pipe there are like padded scilencers of some sort...

i like that the 2OTL is a straight thru design unlike most aftermarket mufflers that go in on the passenger side, and then have an outlet on the passenger side and an outlet on the drivers side... just so it would APPEAR that our cars actually have dual exhaust i hate when people always ask me "why does your exhaust only come out on one side"

either way honestly if i could do it over again, i would have just went to a muffler shop and had them fabb me up a loudmouth style exhaust and call it good which is what ill prolly end up doing anyways...

hey if u want ill sell you mine really cheap like i said i don't even use mine...

I don't have dyno numbers but do have timeslip numbers from my WS6.
Completely stock exhaust I went 13.18@104.9 with a 1.87 short time. Went to 2OTL and got a 13.11@104.89 with a 1.89 short time. Same weather conditions.

IMHO, a cat-back is not needed until you are flowing more air. You could get a cut out and probably pick up what I got...for a lot less.

As an aside, I was able to run 12.15@111 on the stock 2.75" cat-back on the TTA.

I cant find the sheet But I know as a fact that even in blower aplications the cutout only saw 2-4 more hp than the SLP 2otl. Yeah its suppose to be the best flowing exhaust I will be putting mine on very soon. Hey injectedss how much u willing to sell for. Or pm me Is it still nice and polished. I really only need the i pipe but Ill buy the system off you for the right price.

FWIW, I dynoed a 396 LT1 on friday that made 451 rwhp through the 2OTL.

The muffler is a straight through design, with two "D" shaped cores joined at the inlet and splitting to the outlets.

Im making over 700rwhp through the 2OTL muffler and tailpipes, but I'm using a 3.5 intermediate pipe and the mufflers inlet was changed to 3.5.

I'm not even the guy selling, but i'll speak to that. The I pipe is 409SS which turns all brown, but the tips are 304SS so they will polish right up with a lil elbow grease

I don't think you'll find anybody who shelled out the cash for a dyno just after a catback install, but the numbers vs. a cutout are very convincing to me that this is an awesome exhaust. And it sounds GREAT too.

Hey Injected SS. I would be interested in buying you exhaust system. What you looking to get for it? Is it for a dual or single cat car?

Thanks
Shawn

Thanks guys...that's what I was looking for.

As a side note, how do you feel the 2OTL compares to the mufflex 4" with Spintech muffler?
