Slick EGR Valve elimination?

I need a slick way to plug the old EGR valve. I have no access to welder. What is something I can pick up quick and get the job done? I have limmited tools... no cutters or anything like that. Right now, I have ripped the valve off the mouting peice and jb welded the crap out of the mount.. but am sceptical to put that back on the car for fear of leaking melted JB weld into the lifter valley.

Thanks for the help!

Re: Slick EGR Valve elimination?

If you had left the valve alone and just removed the vacuum hose, it would have been as effective as a block off plate (unless the pintle was not sealing). Most people use a block-off plate.
