slave cylinder rod hanging out??
hey guys,
when i disconnected my slave cylinder, the rod was hanging like halfway out. is that normal? how do i get it back in for the re-install

wrong forum, but here's the answer..
when you pull the slave cylinder the rod will hangout when it gets pushed out by the hydraulics.. when it comes time to put it back in simply push it into the cylinder to compress it and install.. so its normal.
what you do not want to do however is push the clutch pedal with it out that will push the piston out of the cylinder..
