patman 2 ?'s, what does a bigger oil filter do besides hold more oil, does it give you more pressure ? i know the K&N hp3002 fits a camaro, but what car is that filter made for, just curious

Don't feel dumb, the first and last time I had somebody change my oil, they put 7 quarts in. Needless to say, they got an earfull. And I remembered why I always do this stuff myself.

Those larger filters many of us use on our LT1s are for GM trucks actually.

A bigger filter allows for better oil flow, plus it will allow you to put in a bit more oil into your system, which prolongs it's life a little bit too (more oil in the system equals less stress on the oil, plus the wear metals are spread out more so in turn they create less wear)
