I dont understand this crap, when I jump on the gas sometimes it throws me forward and suddenly stops.. but the motor still runs, it doesnt stall.. It happens atleast everyother time I go WOT.. Its nothing to do with my wires or the coil wire.. I have to clue what this could be.. Maybe a tranni problem?? Mods and car discription are in sig.. help me please!!

 

How do you KNOW its not your wires or coil wire?

I bet its either that, or your Opti. Or ICM or coil itself.

change your coil and coil wire, I bet that this will solve your problem . Plus its only like 40 for the coil. I did mine when i had the same symptons and i was back in buisness.

Yea i read your post... Stil have the problem though, and no money.. Want to ask you a ?..On the ASR regulator there is the electrical harness, there is a metal looking peice going into the harness and it bolts to the mount that bolts to the block, Is that a ground because it sure looks like it... Its a think conductive peice of metal that goes alll the way into the harness, looks as though it maybe wiggleing around... Just wondering if it had a purpose being there other than to hold the harness in place...

 

I had that happen to me on my car. I had a loose spark plug...check them all.

wow hey my car has the same symptoms........and well i had my opti changed already......wow that was a bad time for my car.....i only noticed it doing this after it was changed ........could it really just be a loose spark plug........i want to change them anyways

MUHAHHAHAHAHAHHA I GOT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT TOOK ME FOREVER BUT I GOT IT!!!!!!!!! IT WAS THE BETTERY MOVING AROUND AND CAUSING THE CABLES THAT RUN NEAR THE PULLEY TO HIT THE PULLEY, THE PULLY(AIR CONDITIONER PULEY) ATE THROUGH THE CABLES AND WHEN I HIT THE GAS ITS WOULD KNOCK THE BATTERY BACK AND TOUCH AGAIN AND THATS METAL SO I GUESS IT WOULD SHORT IT OUT... i PUT THE CAR ON JACK STANDS AND HAD A FRIEND REVING IT AND I PUSHED THE CABLES AGAINST THE PULLEYS AND THE CAR STARTED CUTTING OUT!!!!! THE CBALES AS OF NOW ARE EATEN HALF WAY THROUGH.. BUT THAT WAS THE PROBLEM... I HOPE ITS YOUR PROBLEMS TOO, SO YOU CAN GET IT FIXED... LOL.. THE REASON MY CARS ASR TURNED ON WAS BECAUSE THE CAR WAS PRATICALLY SHUTTING OFF, IT WAS ENOUGH TO RESET THE ASR..
