Re: skip shift help!!!!!!

2.2K Ω 1/2 watt resistor you can get a pack of 5 at radio shack for like a 1$

http://www.installuniversity.com/ins...sity/index.htm

go there and go under install documents on the left hand side, then scroll down and look under transmission "radio shack resistor" it shows you how to install it...its really easy and it works

What year is your car? (Might want to add a "signature" with year, tranny type and any major mods - helps people give you the correct answer.)

For the 94/95 OBD-I cars, all you need to do is unplug the harness connector from the skip-shift solenoid. It will set DTC 84 in the PCM, but it will not turn on the SES light.

96/97 OBD-II cars, you will get an SES light when you unplug the connector, so you need the 50-cent Radio Shack resistor.
