Size of Autometer oil temp. sender?

I got an electric oil temperature gauge from Autometer. It doesn't say what size the sender is, nor what size the included adapters are. None of them fit any existing holes in the pan or block that see oil.

Does anyone happen to know what size NPT/AN the sender is? I have model # 3347.

I'm wondering what kind of store would carry these adapters as well.

Thanks!

There is a plug right above the oil filter that is 1/8" NPT.

Napa or similar autoparts store should have an adapter.

The AutoMeter site is a little fuzzy, but appears the sensor threads are 1/8" NPT, and they include adopters for 3/8" and 1/2" NPT

Sender and Fittings for elec. temp. gauges (240deg, 280deg, and 340deg) with 3/8" and 1/2" to 1/8" NPT adptrs.

Thanks for the input, guys.

However, the common thought that the plug is 1/8" NPT is incorrect. It is 1/4". That's why my sender, which is 1/8" was too small to fit in it alone.

I picked up a 1/4" adapter, and it fits great in the '93 oil pressure sensor location.

So, keep this in mind for other people who ask about the size of that plug. It IS 1/4" NPT, verified by me.
