Re: Single Plane pics>>>>
Couple questions which I am sure have been answered elsewhere, but so be it...
How's hood clearance with this setup?
What kind of power gains to you expect over a stock and/or ported LT1 manifold?
Also, what tuning is involved to get the car to run on this setup? For example, Accufab throttle bodies rotate the opposite direction and involve some clever wiring/programming if I recall to get them to run right. Is it the same or easier with this setup?
THANKS!! PICS LOOK SICKKK btw

Power gains with this intake over the stock are about 50 rwhp.
If you do not have a FAST XFI or standalone management system......do not get the Accufab 90 mm T-body. The tip-in part throttle tuning is almost impossible with the stock PCM. Just use your 58mm with an elbow from www.intakeelbows.com if you retain the stock PCM.
Thanks man!
Matt..........I will let you know man!!

I'd love to see the curves on your graph.
What RPM does your setup peak at?

I have an FJO progressive controller as well and a Nitrous Outlet stand-alone fuel system for the nitrous.
Re: Single Plane pics>>>>
Looks very nice!! The red intake and w/p really set it off! I think you may have just sold me on a single plane conversion. I was thinking about using the edelbrock 29135 super victor for my application. I have a baby cam 230/236 in my impalaSS so the 2.6 sq. inch runner cross section should work well, and the runners look to be about 6" long. Not sure if there are any single plane impala's yet....maybe I will be the first.
I'm Sure this is old news but I am thinking there is another benefit to single plane's... cool down between runs. Without ice my LT1 manifold would still be super hot even an hour between runs......the single plane should be much quicker to cool!
Hope you hit the 8's
