Single cat true dual possible?

Is it possible? I have a '93, I plan on doing a heads and cam package along with headers(and all the necessary stuff that goes along with it) but also true dual exhaust. Is it possible to keep my single cat while doing true dual? It was just something I was thinking about...is it possible to switch to dual cats with ODB-I? I was trying to keep my emissions even though I don't have to worry about it here in Florida.

What city are you in?

I cant really see a single cat dual exhaust. But duals should be possible. Then again are you talking about using and x or h pipe? If so i'd just put them between the x pipe and mufflers.

I was thinking an x-pipe.

I'm in Plantation and mostly hang out in Pembroke Pines/Weston/Davie/Sunrise area...

I know the duals would be possible i'm just wondering if i'll be able to keep the cat.

I guess if I have the headers going to the X then before the X splits out again have the cat right there...like you said...would that work?

I see it but where is the cat exactly? Is it in the X? I only have one cat.

That is what i mean. Space is limited. The only places i see for a cat would be between the X and bullet mufflers. I sent you a PM by the way.

It will also depend on headers. Long tube vs mids or shortys. If
you have mids or shortys you can do the dual cats like this:

Otherwise, duals from a single cat makes no sense at all. I don't
really like those bullet cats, they don't have enough volume to
provide a nice catalyst cross section.
