Simple Trans ?

I was checking out my fluids on my car and was wondering why i have very pink trans fluid, but the stick has this very, very small metal powder stuff on the edges? does this mean i have a dying tranny? it shifts ok right now (53K) except for a somestimes lazy 1-2 shift under light throttle (maybe that is normal?) and had a trans flush in 2000.

Metal powder on the edges?!?!?! Ehhhhh, I've never heard of that before. I'd take it to a trans shop to have it looked at. Most places won't charge you for that. I would assume that if there is enough metal floating around in the fluid to get on the dipstick there is a problem somewhere. Whether it be your trans filter is screwed up, premature wear somewhere etc.
