i'm just asking this question to see if its normal, when taking off from a stop and when the last gear hits right at 45 mph at cruising speeds car sounds weak and throttle is weak. does it only when going cruising speeds it dont have to be from a stop but exactly at 45 mph is where it does it ?? its always done it since i've had it about 2 yrs now.

 

I think it's the torque convertor locking up, it'll seem like a sick dog, at about that speed.

 

thanks 2 cntry, i know it has to be the plugs and wires its been two years since i've changed them plus on one of the wires i seen a piece of silicone is missing. therefor it has to be the plug and wires because my tranny is new and my opti has only about 8k miles on it. so im going to get the msd wires,ngk tr-6 plugs,and a msd coil
