signs of failing maf

What are some symptoms of a failing mass air?

I've seen one go bad, on a 95 obd I car w/lt1 edit it was easy to see the maf give the PCM some lame readings.

Like

100% Throttle RPMS 1000 2000 3000 4000 5000 6000
MAF Grams/Sec 150 115 26 220 4 472

Something to that effect, car ran poorly, borrowed my MAF, cr ran fine, readings were fine. Anything like that?
