Sidepipes on a Z???

Anyone ever seen em? Or better yet does anyone have em? I was thinking how cool it would be to have them. I'm not sure how it would look though. I'm sure it's possible to make them look good but I wasn't sure how. I've seen the sidepipes on a mustang where it has ground fx and just a cutout near the rear tire for the exhaust to exit. Obviously everyone knows about the chrome pipes on old vettes and roadsters and stuff. I was just thinking how easy would this be? Have LT's and then pipes that come off and instantly to a turn towards the outside of the car. Then bend and run along the edge with some flashy pipe. Or atleast just have some sort of exhaust tip just exiting out the side. Obviously the way our cars sit it won't leave much for ground clearance, but it's an idea. I don't want to make it look like some gauty creation between a 4th gen and an older 60's muscle car. Just wondered if anyone had any input.
