Arrow Side mount otvc wire route owners come in please

Ok i ve got the side mount otvc wire loome/taylor cut to fit/1200f sleeve.I didnt have any problem of installing them.I ve connect 90 degree side to the spark plug(of course ) and then i ve passed the wire thru the loom to the front of the engine.

But before cutting the wire i got two small issue...

Driver side:
-How did you route the wire after the loom to the opti...Mine are going right on the air tube fitting(kooks lt)?
-Any pictures?

Pass side:
-Same question, how did you route the wire aftyer the loom to the opti?
-Any pictures?

Thank you

I dont think I have ever seen anyone use the side mount on a LT1, I think most I have seen use the valve cover mounts. I had a similar problem with those, the front loom was too close to the AIR tube on the dirvers side so I installed them roated 180 deg. After that they just go down to the OPTI in that area where the intake elbow bends. You might want to use zip ties to get the wires away from the AIR tube.

On the passanger side I think most people go behind the alternator bracket then down between that bracket and the water pump to the OPTI.

Oh and dont put too much faith in those fire sleves. Do your best to make sure they and the wires are not in any direct contact with any of the primaires.

If you do a search you will find a lot of posts on how to route them. But mostly specific to the valve cover mount type.

I run them. The wires fell apart after a year or so. On the drivers side i just ran them from the opti and zip tied them to the abs block in a wires separator and then to the side mounts. On the passenger side i ran them between the bracket and the block and up right through where the air tube used to be. Its hard to get good pics of it. I agree about the fire sleeves. It was kinda hard to find out a wire was dried out and cracked. Like i said i got about a year out of them. I just ordered and received some sweet custom made OTVC MSD wires that have a life time guarantee and 40 ohms a foot in resistance so I'm pretty excited about them. Plug wires plagued me last year because i couldn't figure out what was wrong.
