I'm not going to get into a pissing contest with you cause its not worth the time nor do the guys on this board appreciate it. You always have very ignorant posts and like to talk lots of crap. You provide very little to the board in the way of helpful information. Yes all i have is a "355 with an itty bitty cam" but i am also a college student with 3 cars, including a 69 Mach 1 428 cj, and a 37 ford coupe street rod. My money is spread out over 3 cars. So i guess thats all i can afford for now.

Nothing a GOOD JOB can't handle!!Oh and BTW, I help plenty as I get enough PM's and email's everyday with people's problems and needing help so cry me a river
Funny how we go from my opinion on putting CATS on a car to your trying to tell me Im an idiot just cause you can't afford to make your car go faster
Hence the reason you obviously have NO knowledge of know HOW to make one go faster by running CATS
nm then. InjectedSS
You can't argue with stupidity.
Back to the original post. You CAN gain power by adding a cat if you picked up false knock with an offroad pipe or gutted cat like i did. I personally think the car sounds smoother too with a cat.

Your right dude, can't argue with stupidity... You obviously don't know $hit about f-bodys
"Stupidity" is a word that does little to describe this ignorant fool "Injectedss".
This guy has to be the biggest flame queer I've ever seen on this board...wonder how he made it this far on this board...like the guy wakes up with a Tampax stuck in his anus everyday.
First off dude...when I said people use Cats for emissions...I mean just that...people use cats for emissions...I wasn't necessarily pertaining to this post. If you know anything or not...Plenty of people run cats on thier cars. Not becasue they want to but because by law they are required too. I don't know what hick inbred town your from but you need to learn more and talk bullsh!t less. Most guys that use thier F -bodies as daily drivers and weekend racers use Cats...especially if you live in the city...where we have things like "emissions" & "fines." You can make plenty of power with a cat on your car....unless you set the car to go over 5900 then you'd might want to consider something else. All I'm saying that for the rest of the world that is required to use cats is doing plenty good. So you loose 5 or so HP...with one...big deal. Most of the time when people remove thier cat's is more for sound than anything...If your serious about racing you'd probably have a cut out instead of pipes. I don't think you'll pick up that much HP from having a removing your cat...Exhaust from the Cat on back is restrictive period. IN your opinion anyone with a Muffler still on thier car must not be making HP either right? ....what a f34king fool you are.

All I can say is wow. Quite a surprising barrage of
stuff for a simple question about catalytics. I guess
things are off track now.
Anyway, cats are for those of us that not only have
to pass emmissions, but want to do our part to clean
up the emmissions. The difference in breathing exhaust
from a cat car compared to a no cat car is amazing. Not
that anyone intentionally breathes it, but it's hard to
avoid sometimes in traffic.
Considering the small performance loss a cat causes
for a street/daily driver car it's pointless to not have
it where you are legally required to do so. This reminds
me of the comparison of someone who runs the water
the whole time they brush their teeth compared to
shutting it off and on as needed. It's the cumulative
impact of individual decisions scenario again. Nuff said.
As for the baby cam club, I guess I'm the charter member
since my cam of choice is the Crane 210/224. If a 230/236
is a baby cam then the 210/224 must be a baby, baby,
baby, baby cam.
