1998/WS6 Trans Am/6 speed
Cam kit (not sure which one), Stage1 P&P Heads,
Mac Headers, Cut Out, Catback,
K&N Filter, Custom Tuned
I smoked him through the first gear but he caught up and beat me by about 2 car lengths...race for about a 1/3 or a mile....
I thought I would have done better
Should he have beat me by this much?

(I know he has these things too and nothing more...I know him)

Considering your mods, versus his... you should have expected to get beat. Either way, doesn't sound like you did all that bad. Throw a cam in that thing.

You have NO power adders, so it makes sense that he got you by that much. Those LS-1s are hard to beat.

 

What type of power adders should I get? Cam? and if so which one..I need to be able to install myself because I am broke....

power added= n20, blower, turbo

 

I'm afraid there are no cheap power adders. If there were, we would all have them.
