Question Should I or shouldn't I?

Should I turn my engine into a performance engine? i.e. machine it, better pistons etc...

What kind of question is that??? Of COURSE you should!!!

I'm getting ready to do a 383 setup here soon, so I am all about modding the engine up!!!

If you have an LT1, it's already a performance engine. Now just make it faster, and faster, and faster...then blow it up. And rebuild it to be REALLLLLY FAST!

at least a 355 would be the bomb...if not a 383 or similar

Yea, I'm leaning on a 355 rebuild when the time comes. Looking for a rebuild with all TOP KNOTCH parts, good FULL head job ( sounds funny), and a nice rowdy cam.

383 sounds better and 396 sounds even better. But, I've seen well-built 355s in the 10s under mild spray. So, I think that's a great option!

Talking

I don't think that's a question for this board - rather it's a statement of fact
