should i have them turned
well like most of us around here......my car has been sitting around all winter.....under a cover outside unffoutunatley......one question is
like any unplated rotors..they developed surface rust should i have them turned b4 i drive the car again....
also what should i do b4 i bring my car back out into the wild again lol.....

If the rust is severe....ie pits even after you sand on them with a flat sanding block then yes turn them...otherwise go get some 3m Roloc pads and an adapter for a drill/angle die grinder and just rough up the surface and removing the surface rust at the same time. Should be good as new then. Unless they were warpped from heavy bracking and were pulsing before putting it away then turn them anyway.
Put some gas in it, check/change the oil, and make sure the battery is charged, also check to make sure no woodland creatures have chewed up your spark plug wires, stuff like that. And fire it up.

cool no woodland creature around here yet lol......well im going throught teh whole tuneup....i mean everything....headers will make things easier...new OVC wires diff fluid ..tranny fluid..oil....i mean the whole ten yards....lol only for the fact they havent been doen in a while and the previous owner...well ...who knows what he did lol
