I have the stock z28 rims on my car now. I can get the same stock rims but in chrome for $325. I won't have to get tires because they are the same size as the rims i got now. I want to get 18 inch Z06's but don't have the money right now because i have to get a new clutch and i wanna get headers first. So i think the same rims in chrome would look better. Do you think i should get them or just keep the ones i have now? Also how much heavier are the stock chrome rims over the alloys?

 

Chrome definately looks better IMO. But if I was you I'd wait to get the ones you want because you'll just regret it later. Check Ebay. AFS sells good stuff there. Got my ZR 11's there for dirt brand new.

 

Well i'm definatly gonna get some other rims later. But i can't afford any other ones right now. Even if i get some 17's or 18's for cheap i still gotta get some tires for them. I was just gonna get these ones because i just bought brand new tires for my stock rims and since these are the same thing just in chrome i could just switch tires.

 

you should wait . .but now thats kinda expensive for some stocks . . see if they will hook it up for 2 something . . i sold my stocks today for 100

just wait and save the money for the wheels you want. I got my chrome 18 inch z06 from AFS on ebay for 611 tax included

way too much man. I see them go on here for anywhere from $150-$250. Save your money for something else. No reason to buy them now when you plan on replacing later.

 

Yeah i think i'll just go ahead and wait then. Btw S.J.S or ZACK do you have a link or AFS's seller id so i can try to find some of there rims. I looked but coudn't find anything from them.
