Is there a smaller alternator I can use?

I did a search and saw that several other people have the same problem as me. The alternator won't clear the valve covers. I think I need a new alternator anyway so is there one with a shorter case I can use?

Get a relocation bracket that lets you mount the alt. below the valve covers at the bottom of your engine.

I don't want to get rid of the Power steering and AC. It is a daily driver.
