Should I get 1.6 roller rockers?

Do these affect driveability/reliability/idle at all. I have heard they are good for 10rwhp. I was thinking about the Lt4 style ones or i believe the pro magnums. Are they worth it? What do they affect when you put them on. Thanks, Michael

Yes...they help. I picked up .20 and 2mph.
You can also get the Crane 1.6 rr.

cant hurt ya any. extra lift is always a good thing. i recommend the pro mags or the crane gold race or LT4 rockers.

I noticed a greater power increase from 1.6 Pro Mags than from any other mod besides headers. No downside.
If I had it to do again I'd probably go with self aligning Pro Mags with 7/16" studs and not bother with guideplates.

1.6's are worth the cost, but don't do it unless you upgrade the springs. The stock ones are to close to coil bind and are crap to begin with. Believe me I know. Also go with the non SA and some GMPP guideplates. With hardened push rods of course.

They do talk about them alot. But they anywhere near as cheap as a cutout. Ecspecially when you throw in the cost of everything. I would say do 1.7rr if your not gonna do a cam or if your gonna go with the hotcam. Get the 1.6rr's if your gonna get a cam or one with a good amount of lift already. You don't want to much lift.
