shorter shifter on ebay??

Does this picture look as though it will work to shorten the stock 6 spd shifter? And do you think it would improve the stocker?

That's just a shorter stick. That's not what a short throw shifter is. Before I'd buy that, I would just hack off the stock shifter and rethread it.

I know its not a short throw shifter...

Its just not very much money, so I was thinking of saving myself the time and effort of cutting mine.

For that you could prolly find a used short throw here on the board and be alot more happy with it.

I actually own that one, and it is considerably shorter than stock. I'd guess stock is about 8" and that one is 6" or 6.5".

Will it shorten your throw? Definately. But not much. I combined it with the SLP short shift unit, and I am very happy with the results.
