Mine does that also. Is there a way to fix it?

It is important to have the year model when looking up wiring diagrams.

If you put in a new module and have the security light flashing, your new module is not programmed and you have a problem with it not reading the key. (Maybe that was the original problem -I don't remember) When a new module is installed, it will read the key resistance and program itself to it. It will only do that once. The new module cannot program itself to the key if it cannot read it.

You need to make sure your key is ok. If it is, then you need to test the harness from the key cylinder to the connector at the bottom of the steering column (plug with wht/blk, ppl/wht wires in it). If it is bad, you can either replace it or bypass it with a resistor to match your key pellet resistance. Your key cylinder may just be dirty, too.

I got everything else to work but the light is still flashing would it hurt if I just let it keep flashing.

No, it won't hurt, except the PassKey system is not functional and your car will be easier to steal.
