shoebox answer this

Hey shoebox thanks for all your help again with the bcm fixed it... Now another question I have high rpm miss 5200 5400 sometimes, now i sent madwolf my dyno sheets from last year and this year there is a dip in the graph at 5200 then in 2003 at 5400.

Now the question is he said its the opti, i said to him its been doing that sometimes on dyno since last year, doesnt the opti go out when its time and would not last taht long right. Second question I have the msd 6a he also said msd kills optis is that a fact. Your knowledge will help me before I start taking it apart. Thanks again Angelo Oh and this I have changed plugs 1 month ago coil and put the msd on wires are i say a year old msd 8.5s

High rpm breakup is one of the opti symptoms and it could seem to not act up the rest of the time. If you are confident in the rest of the ignition system and have not changed the opti, it could be considered a suspect. I don't subscribe to the notion that the MSD harms the opti. I run one and have not seen any evidence so far.

IMO, you would need a lot of experience working with dyno graphs and engine problems to be able to correctly identify issues. I don't have that expertise.
