Re: Shoebox?

B1 to B4 in the relay socket will bypass the relay. A short piece of wire should do the trick. A coat hanger is a bit thick.

Be aware that you are bypassing any safety features meant to protect your compressor from being on when the charge is low.

If you want to ask a particular person a question, you should email them. It's not really fair to others to use the board as a personal message center.

Re: Shoebox?

are you suppose to keep the wire in there or take it out?

and why is it that it wont work with the relay in there?

and for some reason when i leave me the AC on AC it will get cool, but on MAX it gets hot?

Re: Shoebox?

When in MAX it recurculates inside air. You might have a problem with one of your doors in the heater/evap box.

I guess I don't understand what you are trying to do. I thought you wanted to bypass the relay. Obviously the relay would be removed to do this and would serve no purpose if you could even get it back in there. Inserting the jumper allows voltage to pass to the a/c compressor coil. Removing the jumper removes the power and kills the coil.
