Shoe box: I'm still baffled.

Still trying to figure out what's what with the baffles. I have your diagram showing the upper and lower. My "mechanic" apparently decided not to put them in correctly, so I'm stuck with looking at the 2 baffles about 2" apart from connecting to one another. The top baffle is underneath the lower baffle. Looks like it should be on top.

Do I need to go to a bodyshop to get this damn thing corrected? I just can't stand it when something isn't put back together correctly.

Any instructions on how to fix this sucker will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I can email you a few pics, but I am not sure if they will help much. I don't have an overall view.

Thanks Shoe. It's sounds simple, but when someone doesn't put something back together correctly and in the order it should be, it sometimes requires extensive work to to undo the damage.

I'd appreciate any pics or advice. As I mentioned, the top baffle is under the bottom one. Perhaps you tell if it should be on top, instead.

The mech. even stripped the middle bolt hole that holds down the top of the radiator cover.

If I was ever to advise someone about modding a car, I'd say 2 things. "Never mod a brand new car" and "Do your own work".

Thanks again for responding.
