Shims,retainers,and locks..
I am looking in doing 1.6 rockers think i'm going for the crane gold SA no plan to do cam in the near future. so the question I have is i was going to get the lt4 springs, but i saw a kit that came with the springs shims retainers and locks. Do I need all that or will the lt4 springs fit by themselves?
LT4 Springs
If your heads are stock the LT4 springs will drop in, in place of the stock springs.
It's advisable, depending on the mileage, to replace the seats, retainers and
locks since they do not add that much cost. Also replace the valve stem oil
seals while you are in there.
