shifting points for HD 4L60E with shift kit??

shifting points for HD 4L60E with shift kit??

anyone knows what shifting points are good, to have a firm and crisp shift in Heavy Duty 4L60E with transgo shift kit?? i want to be able to chirp the tires from 1st to 2nd.....and keep in mind i'm running 75 wet n2o shot. i set my window switch at 3200 on - 5400 off. thanks for all the help

Shiftings points are based on the horsepower peak of the motor. You want to shift at apx 7-10% past HP peak for the best results. If you are using the Trans-Go Performance Shift kit, then to get the best results for nice part throttle shifts and firm WOT shifts, drill the 2nd gear feed hole to .086-.096, 3rd gear, .155, 4th gear .155. Try no accumulator spacers to start with, and maybe "one" if you want firmer 1-2 shifts at part throttle. Which torque converter are you running? (stall), and what diameter?

thanks for the info. i have a 2000 corvette stall convertor. my tranny shift pretty firm at WOT, i just wanna chirp the tires going from 1st to 2nd. btw, do you own a shop?? a tranny shop?? my tranny builder said, that my tranny was build to be very strong, he put 8 clutches in there.....
