I just recently broke my stock rear end to and am looking at options....
A friend of mine told me about this guy who does Ford 9 bolt and 8.8 conversations for Fbodies. I also heard these are alot better then 12bolts.. I may end up doing that if its cheaper. Otherwise, id get a Moser and Strange...

If you go with the moser make sure you torque the bolts that connect the torque arm to the diff housing properly. And then check them. My cousin has gone through two torque arms due to bolts working themselves loose. Some other people helped us out and said they had this problem too. He had even retightened them ~ 200 mi after the BMR torque arm install.
Moser requires a new driveshaft. According to others i think the strange works with a stock shaft.?.?.

Some guys have had trans problems because the d/s bashes the into the tail housing of the trans missions under hard accelartion.
They tell you a little about this now when you buy it from them, only when you get it to your door and open up the box.
I too had problems with my tq arm bending. It was do to the bolt's backing out. put some red locktite on them things and crank them down.

I had to shorten my driveshaft with the Moser. At most reasonable power levels, the added strength of a 9" is not going to be a factor.
I'm going on my third year with the Moser 12 bolt and have been very pleased. It is a bit louder than stock but with longtubes and a flowmaster and no sound insulation it really doesn't matter.
Rob Moser sold me my unit and the customer service and tech support were great. I cannot speak for other vendors because my experience is with Moser.

I haven't had a chance to use my Strange much yet but I don't see how the axles are weaker than a 12 bolt Moser. They are 33 spline and my thumb and finger couldn't touch when I grabbed the axle (and I have long hands/fingers). As far as the tubes.....what is the problem? The stock tubes flexed due to not being fully welded.....if I remember correctly Strange welded the crap outa mine. I've seen alot of posts on this board (may wanna do a search) with Moser 12 bolts either A. real loud whining B. premature ring gear failure due to improper install by Moser They were happy to pay for the install but who wants to be hassled? My Strange even came filled with fluid and used the stock swaybar clamps. Easy install......very easy.....and I used my stock length driveshaft with no problems.
