shifting out at 4500 rpm's

i just changed my tranny fluid and filter. i am now having problems with my car shifting out at 4500 rpm's at full throttle. would this have something to do with the kickdown cable? i know nothing about this so help would be great. thanks

Too much fluid is bad. My old Z28 shifted early when a shop added to much tranny fluid.

I'm note sure about this- but I *think* this is why-

Transmission shift with respect to certain pressures-
its all fluids/fluid pressures- not physical/mechanical gears like an auto

anyway-
more fluid in less space = more pressure = shift quicker?

I'm sending Fred a link to think-
perhaps he could be so kind as to help us out
