Unhappy shifting my car

Hey guys i just put a b&m ripper shifter in my car and there is a nosie it makes when i start the car. also it has stoped me from putting it into gear when i start my car and i have to re start it to get it to work was there somthin i forgot to do when installin it? or should i return it? all i did was un screw the stock one and put the other right back on.... is there somthin that needs to be bleed to let air out.... help please thanks

Did you install the STOPS?

The noise you are probably hearing is like a chattering vibration. This is common with these shifters. It is due to them not having the bushings in it to absorb these noises. Not having these is one of those advantage disadvantage things. Without them you get firmer shorter shifts, but with them you get a little bit of noise.
