shift points

need some help here guys, i have a 2.73 gear in my car now and will be putting in a
3.42 in a couple of weeks.
when i have my computer reprogram for the gear,fans, what would i have the sift points reprogram too for a 3.42
don't want to keep taking out the computer for reprograming or driving over the guys house for him to change the
shift points (madwolf)

With the kind of mods that you have (and looks like your valvetrain is still stock), I wouldn't rev the car past 6000rpm. Don't take any chances. Good luck.

I would say set it at 6000rpm for now. Later on if you get a cam, heads, 1.6rr, better springs etc... you can bump it up.

there was a member that had a similar set-up to mine and he increase his mph
between 2nd & 3rd gear only, does this sound correct
