Shift **** Problem

I have a 94 Z-28 Camaro with a Auto Tranny. How do you get that shift **** off? I found the little slit in the back o f the **** but what are you suppose to do from there?

Pry out the retaining clip with a small screwdriver. The **** may still be stuck on pretty good. Just pull straight up (don't hit yourself in the face when it comes loose )

Havn't hit myself in the face, but have been thrown back in the car.....good thing no one was around
